Keto Crust!

Hello!

So today I am sharing an amazing keto pie crust recipe, and I will also be showing what I did with my crust.
(I used recipe 2)

You Will Need:
1 cup almond flour (100 g / 3.5 oz)
⅓ cup flax meal (50 g/ 1.8 oz)
1 tbsp psyllium husk powder (8 g/ 0.3 oz)
pinch salt (I like pink Himalayan)
¼ cup butter or ghee or coconut oil (56 g/ 2 oz)
2-4 tbsp water (optional)

Note: for best results, measure by ounces using a kitchen scale.

Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Mix all the dry ingredients together: almond flour, flax meal, psyllium husk powder and salt.

Cut up the butter and use your hands to mix it all together. If the dough is too thick to press into a pie pan, add a tiny bit of water.
Now refrigerate for 30-60 minutes or until needed.

Now you can use your dough! I put mine in a muffin pan and baked it for roughly 15 minutes, although the original recipe says 18-20 minutes.
Now the tart in the bottom shows what I did with my dough, which I will explain below. :)

So all I did was cut up an apple and a few frozen strawberries, then I added cinnamon, vanilla and some powdered ginger. The strawberries were so sweet so I didn’t need to add any Swerve.

Meh photo, sorry
Then I dropped the apple mix into the dough and baked it until it was a little bubbly.

And that’s it!
These are delicious served with whip cream by the way.
If you make the dough be sure to tell me how it turned out and what you did with it. And if you try to replicate my recipe, I’d love to know!

One more thing: I love suggestions!! If you have a certain craft or recipe you want me to make, or something you want me to review tell me! I will do my best to look at that for you.

See you later!
