Oreo Crust

Hey Guys!

I know we all love Oreo cookies. Don’t deny it. They are delicious. And they are even better when they are the bottom of your favorite pie! So here is a super easy recipe for an Oreo cookie crust!

You will need:
25 of your favorite Oreos
5 tbs butter.

Start by crushing your Oreos (frosting and all) in a food processor until they are crushed into fine crumbs.

Now melt your butter…

...and mix it into the Oreo crumbs until everything is thoroughly combined.

Now firmly press the mixture into a 9x9 pie pan and bake at 350F for 8 minutes. Let it cool completely before adding your pie filling.

And you are done! Here are a few photos of the pie I made with my crust.

I made a lemon meringue pie with the oreo crust and chocolate sauce on the top.
It was sooo good.
Also extremely sugary.
But delicious.

Tell me what you did with your crust in the comments below!
See you next week!

Nanaimo Bars

Hey guys!

So recently I was tasked with the important job of making Nanaimo Bars.
They were delicious.
I did not take enough photos to make a how-to because it is a long recipe and my first time making anything that has layers. They were totally worth all the layers and ingredients, however, so please click the link and give them a try yourself. Or if you would like me to make a more detailed post tell me and I will work on that.
Now on to photos!

First you make the cream for the filling layer. This is pretty easy, as long as you are quick. I recommend measuring out your ingredients first.

Next you make the crust layer and press that into the bottom of a 9x9 pan. I put foil in the bottom of my pan to make the whole thing easy to take out and cut without breaking it.

Next you whip up your cream cheese and butter, then beat in the cream from earlier. You can, in fact, use frozen cream cheese for this. Just make sure it’s completely thawed before using it!

Once the crust has been cooled and hardened in the fridge you can add your filling layer and put the whole thing back in the fridge.

Finally, when that has cooled and hardened, add your melted chocolate and butter and let it cool.

And you are done! As I mentioned before these are really delicious, and they are healthy too! So no judgement. I really recommend giving these a try; if you do please tell me how you liked them! See you next week!

Chocolate Stars

Hello!

How are you? I’m fine.
Alright, enough with the pleasantries. Time to get to the post. That is what you probably came here for anyway.
Today I have some chocolate star fat bombs! These are really good and we can’t get enough of them. Even my little brother loves them. Let’s get started!
Source: Low Carb Yum

You will need:
1/4 cup peanut butter (I use chunky)
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 ounce chocolate chips
1 tablespoon cocoa
5 drops Sweetleaf vanilla stevia drops

Using a double boiler melt the peanut butter, coconut oil, chocolate chip and cocoa powder together.

It should look something like this when you are done. Remove from the stove and add the liquid stevia drops.

Sorry the lighting is funky, my camera started acting up.
Transfer the mixture into a measuring cup and pour it into your molds. I recommend using a silicone mold. Freeze for 1-2 hours.

And you are done! These are very easy to make and they are delicious. As with all recipes, remember to Taste For Sweetness! Also a heads up: this start to melt very quickly. There will be chocolate on your hands. But it will be worth it. :)

See you next week!
