Chocolate Date Balls

Hello!

I have another yummy thing to share with you today: Chocolate Date Balls! These are really delicious and easy to eat on the go. I’ve been taking them to my swim meets and they are really nice to have! Let’s get on to the recipe now.
You Will Need:
1 1/2 cups pitted dates
1 tbsp plus 2 tsp cacao or cocoa powder
1/8 tsp salt
Dump all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth or until it balls up like dough. Freeze for 30 minutes.

Roll the date mixture into bite-size balls and cover in cocoa (or cacao) powder.

And you are done! You could also cover these in shredded coconut or plain chocolate...yummy!
These are really delicious, easy and convenient so I really hope you give these a try. Leave a comment if you do!

See you next week!

As you can probably tell, I am not a professional photographer. I’m not even using a classic camera for these photos, all of them were taken by my smart phone. But I enjoy taking them and I hope you enjoy seeing them!

Painting a Cast

Hey Guys!

Recently my sister decided to break her arm.
No, not really. It was a total accident. As are all broken limbs.
Anyway, I was tasked with the delicate operation of painting it. We used this photo for inspiration and started painting!

Using black acrylic paint I drew an outline of the pistons.

Then I filled in the background and the pistons.

Next I traced the old black lines because I had covered a lot of them when I was painting the background.

After that I added some small details, like light gray screws.

Finally we added some white highlights. And that was it!

This was really fun to paint and my sister loves her fancy cast. It’s pretty cool! :)

See you next week!
